Of course Nolan is the film industry's great Messiah. Of course so many in every area (cast, crew, media, producers) want to be associated with this success.
He makes goddamn blockbusters with an absolutely ridiculous rate of consistency. He brings in both the money & the Oscar nominations. If you are in the business of film, what's not to love?
