Behind every line of this document is a story.

A story of a member, author, fellow, partner, editor, supporter or a collaborator, who has trusted the BBA to carry their work forward.

We exist to give them a platform: in parliamentary roundtables, in Working Groups, in a peer-reviewed research Journal, in global policy forums, at member receptions and field visits, and in the rooms where decisions about the future of blockchain and digital assets are actually made.

Since its inception in 2017, the BBA's reach and impact have grown year on year, and 2026 is no exception.

From advising #governments, regulators and central banks on digital assets, tokenisation and #blockchain, to contributing to public consultations shaping the UK's #regulatory and innovation landscape and being recognised by the Department for Business & Trade for #outstanding contributions to growing the UK #economy, BBA continues to bring evidence, rigour and independence to the conversations that matter most to the world.

From shaping the UK National Blockchain Roadmap (#NBR, Vision 2030), to driving 13 Policy Advocacy Domains aligned with the APPG's 2025–26 work-streams.

From appointing new Fellows (#FBBA), to expanding the Centre for Evidence-Based Blockchain (#CEBB) membership to 700+ practitioners as of April 2026.

From running the Secretariat of the APPG on Blockchain Technologies, to delivering Blockchain #Masterclasses for Members of the UK House of Lords and the House of Commons.

From hosting the #International Scientific Conferences #ISCs on Blockchain to convening the Blockchain Associations Forum #BAF, a global consortium of 51 national blockchain associations across six continents.

From publishing ground-breaking research on Post-#Quantum Blockchains to case studies on #AI and blockchain convergence, from #socio-politico-technical research on Web3 to translating data into plain-language #infographics (translated into 7 different #languages) that policymakers, journalists, and #citizens can actually use.

From showcasing member innovations at our monthly BBA #Forums to featuring their work in The #JBBA, the world's first peer-reviewed blockchain journal, now reaching 1,100 universities in 117 countries - as well as our monthly #newsletter, and a global #social media presence spanning 13 platforms and tens of thousands of followers.

The BBA Ecosystem is our members' ecosystem and it is growing in reach, in rigour, and in real-world impact.
