D23, 2026: Disney Experiences Showcase Previews “Cars: Lightning Racers” Theme Song “Built To Last”…
D23, 2026: Disney Experiences Showcase Previews “Cars: Lightning Racers” Theme Song “Built To Last” Performed By Sheryl Crowe.
As part of the Disney Experiences showcase, Neil Patrick Harris introduced the upcoming attractions and experiences coming to the Disney parks in the upcoming years.
The showcase gave new information to the upcoming “Piston Peak National Park” land coming soon to Walt Disney World. The new area inspired by the Pixar Animation Studios franchise “Cars” will bring guests new attractions like Miss Fritter’s Daredevil Spin-Along and Cars Ridge Run Rally as well several food and beverage offers to guests.
During the showcase Harris announced details for the upcoming Disney Television Animation preschool series “Cars: Lightning Racers” slated for a Summer 2027 debut on Disney Jr. and Disney+. Harris will announce that GRAMMY winning artist Sheryl Crowe will peform the new song “Built To Last” which will serve as the series Theme Song.
Crowe also perfomed the iconic song “Real Gone” as an early W.I.P version for the series opening sequence was showed at the big screens from the Honda Center.
