As outrageous as the public murder of Alex Pretti is, don't forget that just slightly smaller outrages are happening constantly—unabated—throughout Minneapolis & other cities in Minnesota.
If he hadn't been murdered, he probably would have had the shit kicked out of him, been detained in horrible conditions for a little while, & then fucking unceremoniously dumped somewhere to limp home (or other similarly awful chains of events).
It still would have been a brutal outrage—but just one of many.
