I dont understand these peoples angles. We are trying to get bitcoin to a better place and core thinks their position is the better one for bitcoin. I would understand this bet if it was deciding which rule set was better for bitcoin but its not, its simply for if bip110 will be successfully deployed or not which has nothing to do with its inferiority or superiority over the current rules.
