Rare earth mining is an unsustainable cost. It's been estimated that to do the clean in China would cost as much as the entire sector generated in revenue.

Solution? Move mining to Myanmar, places like that.

1 GW wind = 300 ton rare earth = 600,000 ton toxic waste.

And it's often radioactive waste, as rare earths are usually found beside thorium, uranium
