I'm in the central part of Seattle that somehow escaped damage (current theory: a combination of Mercer Island and Bellevue taking the edge off + significantly less old growth large trees thanks to early 20th century logging) and it's wild seeing the outage maps and knowing the power companies are busting their ass, but so many people are still without power. Definitely a storm for the records. And to think: it didn't even come with much rain. Imagine this + flash floods! 😱
