1) Is the app open source? Or do we have to trust the government that there are no "handy" backdoors built in?
2) Does the app work on GrapheneOS, or is it obligatory to have an account at some American big tech company (Google)?
3) Does it work on Linux? Or do we need to use our phone and tell our app everytime we want to visit some website on our Linux laptop?
Sorry to be skeptical. But if the answer on any of these questions is "no", then it is not a privacy preserving solution.
