"content": "Exploring Spain in Photographs: The Atalaya Watchtower\n\n\n\nThe Atalaya watchtower is from the Nasrid period, specifically the 14th century.\n\n\n\nThe tower is circular, standing at a height of 7 meters and a diameter of 4.60 meters. It is constructed of masonry and lime mortar. The lower part of the structure is solid, with a hollow upper section with an entrance door (accessible only via a ladder) into a small space with a window for observation.
