For quite some time now, I have been repeatedly saying that nearly all modern software and all modern website are utter garbage. This isnt merely an opinion, it comes from some, albeit, minimum, knowledge of coding, although it was over 20 years ago when I learned, so that minimal knowledge is rusty as hell. But nonetheless, I know good from bad, and I dont have to look at the code specifically to know its was written like shit, if it was truly written (ie not copy/ pasting other shitty code). So, if you want to understand the issues I am referring to, and why I say these things, read the linked article, written by a man with around 50 years experience. He WROTE code, when doing so from scratch was the ONLY option, doing so with languages that today's 'best' coders likely could never once used, if they even heard of them.
