I am the worst Romance hero ever.
So, a bit of backstory for the new followers. For months now, I've been communicating with a neighbor via letters typed out in text files—in his case Word document—and yes it is a wonderful plot out of a soon to be released Romance book. We started doing this because our emails were over saturated. We deliver the flash drive to each other in a bag after typing out our letters. We put the flash drive in a bag.
We sometimes leave goodies in the bag with the flash drive, like cookies, toothpaste, just extra goodies like cookies and such.
Today, he popped the question.
Do you want to come over for dinner sometime? I’d love to cook for the man I've come to know so well via text.
This is why I am no Romance hero.
Blushing redder than a fire engine, I giggled, nearly tripped on the air, nearly choked, collected myself, then I said,
That sounds great—I love to eat… I eat… uh, food!
His baritone giggle had me swooning as he said, “great. I’d love to make some… hmm, FOOD. For you.”
