I used 4 foot beds for years because they were comfortable to work in from either side and I could fit a lot of plants in. As I get older the reach has gotten harder and I've been moving to 3 foot beds. For me my ability to comfortably work the garden outweighs the need to fit as many plants in as possible. #Gardening
