Your banking app knows you were at the bakery yesterday, how much your car costs and where you shop. A household ledger in the cloud is a map of your life on someone else's servers.
My Expense Tracker does the opposite: a budget book that runs fully offline. Expenses and fixed costs AES-256 encrypted on your device only. No account, no server, no tracking. Monthly and yearly overview, fixed-cost management, CSV export, bilingual.
New in v1.5, the security release: the Android app has no INTERNET permission at all, it provably cannot phone home at the operating-system level. Plus FLAG_SECURE (no screenshots, no preview in the app switcher) and no ADB backups. Hardened backup import, and locking wipes everything decrypted from memory.
Android-only, no Google Play, source open. Via the Zap Store or Codeberg.
