If you're still using Windows (directly on hardware anyway) we just got another good reason as to why you should strongly consider alternatives:

https://docs.slackware.com/), a great third party repo (
https://slackbuilds.org/) with a great tool for managing third party software (
https://sbopkg.org/) and still no silly systemd (if you don't know what this means, consider yourself lucky thus far).
