I was terrified to be myself because I thought she was actually trying to communicate that she believed something was wrong with the way I dressed & acted. I thought I was experiencing personal judgement.
Had I known that things "looked bad" to her because they didn't match what other people wore, I would not have fucking cared.
It felt like she was telling me something was actually wrong with me, that I was incompetent at basic things that "everyone else" got right.
