We all need to be airflowmaxxing harder when our schedule calls for time indoors.

Keep the windows open as much as you can. If it's cold, just throw on a sweater, or add a blanket onto your bed.

did some air quality testing in his house recently, and discovered that the difference between having lots of windows open, versus all of them closed, is enormous. Even compared to when he ran multiple electronic air purifiers with the windows closed, the fresh air from outside always made it the cleanest (even when outdoor air quality wasn't the best, i.e. during the fires this summer, it was STILL better than that pure, musty indoor air).

He also noted that the air quality tanked noticeably when the sensor was around people COOKING. So make sure you LOCK IN on getting rid of those plastic spatulas, nonstick pans, teflon-coated air fryers, etc...

Stainless steel, cast iron, and wood/metal utensils ONLY.

(Random side note: one of the instructions I got from the pet store when I bought a parakeet🦜 for a pet as a kid, was to NEVER cook with teflon pans anywhere near birds, because it literally kills them. Literal IRL canary in the coalmine example we would be wise to take heed to.)

PS: while we're already talking about him, you should all follow my bro if you haven't. Super-talented filmmaker, smart, and an all-around awesome dude who I've had the pleasure of embarking on many meatspace adventures with over the years, as a couple of wascally PNW-based shenanigan enjoyers.
