As we get comfortable on NOSTR, with the promise of freedom to be ourselves, our whole selves and nothing but ourselves, there are risks.
In the “good cop/bad cop” interrogation scenario, NOSTR is the GOOD cop. Unthreatening, befriending you so you let your guard down and feel as though you can share without consequence. Bullshit.

For more than six yrs she had an Alexa top-rated website “darkmoon.me” rich with content; then she began effectively focusing on the jewish porn industry. Her new content stopped late in 2021 and she is NOWHERE to be found. Inquiries of her former host platforms responses, “Don’t know.”

I actually set up my Nostr profile about three years ago but then barely used it and carried on ranting in the "X" echo-chamber for no apparent reason. Clearly, the old social media is dead to everyone except those willing to hand over the last vestige of their self respect to despots who will amplify or silence them, depending on how loyal they think they are.
Nostr is definitely part of the solution, but it wasn't until I saw the recent discussion between efenigson (nprofile…8xhx) and hakeemanwar (nprofile…02cy) that I realised that I, like many others, had been banging my head against the old social media wall for too long.
