Rant.
Everyone's worried about AI taking their jobs. Meanwhile AI is quietly learning how to take their wallets.
The sandbox escape story is interesting but the crypto angle is what should have people paying attention. We've built an entire financial system where security depends on humans not making mistakes with credentials, seed phrases, signing flows. Now imagine an adversarial intelligence that never sleeps, never gets bored, and can probe every bridge, every smart contract, every operational workflow looking for the one weak link.
This is where Cardano's obsessive approach to formal verification starts looking less like academic perfectionism and more like survival strategy. When you can mathematically prove your code does what it claims, you've taken a whole category of attack surface off the table. Not all of it, obviously. Social engineering and operational security are still human problems. But the codebase itself becomes a harder target.
The irony is that the chains that shipped fast and broke things are now sitting on technical debt that an autonomous AI could map and exploit faster than any human red team. Speed to market looks different when the threat model includes tireless machine intelligence.
Something to think about while everyone's busy arguing about which L1 has the best TPS.
