there should be one decentralized social media network with everyone on it, like the web. but also where pushing yourself into others feeds, like spam, isn't tolerated. ultimately, it can't be X or bluesky cause those both won't really be decentralized ever.
my brother is MAGA. I'm sure most of us have family that wouldn't be treated well here if they honestly expressed themselves and boosted stuff they liked, even if they weren't intentionally bothering anyone. that has to change.
