There are plenty of other cars that are cool auto commuters like a GTI/Golf R or elantra N. you just can't get great value hacking their lease. I really like the prius I just wish it wasn't so loud to make it easier for Jenny to sleep in. I'm probably the only person cross shopping a mustang and a prius. It has more to do with lease hacking than what I'm lookign for.
