There’s probably nothing I can say about this album that hasn’t already been said. Who’s Next is nailed down hard in the classic rock canon.

And yeah, the hits are all here: “Baba O’Riley,” “Going Mobile,” “Won’t Get Fooled Again”—among others.

The Who started on this album after abandoning a rock opera.

Thank God.

Because whatever they might have cooked up instead, I have a hard time believing it would’ve been more interesting than this.

I found this copy at a flea market for $2, and it works great.

Try getting even a used vinyl copy for that now.
