Sometimes I read these things from fellow millennial women about aging and how they feel weird about it and I thank god I spent a lot of my formative years dumpster diving and being adjacent to punk/leftist/artsy scenes and have been at peace with going gray since I was a teenager because I cannot identify with a lot of the hand wringing. Which is not to say it’s not real or in peoples heads, just feeling very tender about how my early weird alt kid identity inoculated me from so much.
