I don't follow. Twitter isn't larger than Facebook, Instagram, and often hasn't been larger than the flavour-of-the-week social networks like SnapChat at their heights. Twitter's advantage has always been the journos, and the mistake I see the left-wing jounos making is thinking they aren't replaceable, immediately, in Twitter's ongoing controversy engine. I don't think size matters at all for a social network; it's what escapes that social network that gives it strength and everything escapes Twitter because those same lefty journos who virtue signal about being on Bluesky are still monitoring their feeds on Twitter. It's a matter of utility, not maximal reach.
