Minor nitpick it's only "soccer" in Canada and the US, not so in the second largest country in North America (by population), where we say "fútbol" like you do in your blog. 🙂
EDIT: I just learned from Wikipedia that while North America does include all of Central America, there is also a term I had never heard before, "Northern America", that you can use for the parts of the Americas that are north of Mexico, the biggest chunks of which are the US and Canada, of course.
