There's plenty to complain about with nostr. This isn't me just being negative. You can see it all the time on here. If you're saying that this is some safe haven for people to come where they can have everything they've ever wanted you're being disingenuous.
Also pretending this comes down to ego is dishonest. Ego isn't the only thing wanting more reach. You have more access to more people there. It's just a fact.
He's getting something there that he can't get here and that's all it comes down to.
