I think I may still have my notebook I used to take to church conferences floating around somewhere. It would probably be kind of horrifying to look at all the "wisdom" & "insights" I wrote down from the various sermons & lectures.
I filled lots of notebooks with religious gobbledygook as told to me by Very Serious Men & wrote a lot of essays in highschool & college rife with the same. It's "truthiness" at its finest, but it certainly occupied my brain while keeping me right where I was.
