I came across a dead rat lying on the road on the walk from the workplace to the bus stop.
It hadn't been hit by anything, didn't look as if it was poisoned. Just a perfectly formed dead rat lying on its side. Looked like it just keeled over and gave up.
Wonder what killed it.
