#Markdown: I’m going back and forth on how line breaks should work:
On one hand, it’s nice if a newline at the end of a line becomes a line break:
• It fits with Markdown’s WYSIWYG philosophy.
• You can list lines without having to add extra markup (bullets or explicit line breaks).
On the other hand:
• The de-facto standard across MD dialects is to support hard-wrapped text.
• Line breaks via backslashes are now broadly supported and reasonably convenient.
