Yeah, I've heard if flash floods before, but I've never seen anything like this! Plus it's all desert so it's just sand and mud!
They cut the roads into the land instead of building them up so when it rains they become little rivers! Not to mention the other washes that just go across the roads and make those that still work impassable.
