For non-normie users, I have a better simple solution in the age of strong ai: vibe code a version of the app that has all telemetry and home-phoning removed and side load that. I recommend that for all apps, actually. If you (i mean your ai) can't build it (because it's closed source or only source-viewable), then don't install it
