"AN ACT\n\n\u0026#xA0; relating to the possession and administration of epinephrine \u0026#xA0; delivery systems by certain entities. \u0026#xA0; \u0026#xA0;\u0026#xA0;\u0026#xA0;\u0026#xA0;\u0026#xA0;\u0026#xA0;\u0026#xA0;BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: \u0026#xA0; \u0026#xA0;\u0026#xA0;\u0026#xA0;\u0026#xA0;\u0026#xA0;\u0026#xA0;\u0026#xA0;SECTION\u0026#xA0;1.\u0026#xA0;\u0026#xA0;Section 773.0145, Health and Safety Code, is \u0026#xA0; amended by adding Subsection (a-1) and amending Subsection (c) to \u0026#xA0; read as follows: \u0026#xA0; \u0026#xA0;\u0026#xA0;\u0026#xA0;\u0026#xA0;\u0026#xA0;\u0026#xA0;\u0026#xA0;(a-1)\u0026#xA0;\u0026#xA0;This section does not apply to an entity that is \u0026#xA0; required by another law to adopt and implement a policy governing \u0026#xA0; the maintenance, administration, and disposal of epinephrine \u0026#xA0; delivery systems by the entity. \u0026#xA0; \u0026#xA0;\u0026#xA0;\u0026#xA0;\u0026#xA0;\u0026#xA0;\u0026#xA0;\u0026#xA0;(c)\u0026#xA0;\u0026#xA0;An entity in this state, including a governmental \u0026#xA0; entity, [described by Subsection (a)] may adopt a policy regarding \u0026#xA0; the maintenance, administration, and disposal of epinephrine \u0026#xA0; delivery systems\u0026#xA0;[auto-injectors]. \u0026#xA0; \u0026#xA0;\u0026#xA0;\u0026#xA0;\u0026#xA0;\u0026#xA0;\u0026#xA0;\u0026#xA0;SECTION\u0026#xA0;2.\u0026#xA0;\u0026#xA0;Sections 773.0145(a) and (b), Health and Safety \u0026#xA0; Code, are repealed. \u0026#xA0; \u0026#xA0;\u0026#xA0;\u0026#xA0;\u0026#xA0;\u0026#xA0;\u0026#xA0;\u0026#xA0;SECTION\u0026#xA0;3.\u0026#xA0;\u0026#xA0;This Act takes effect September 1, 2025. \u0026#xA0; \u0026#xA0; \u0026#xA0; ______________________________ ______________________________ \u0026#xA0; \u0026#xA0;\u0026#xA0;\u0026#xA0;President of the Senate Speaker of the House\u0026#xA0;\u0026#xA0;\u0026#xA0;\u0026#xA0;\u0026#xA0; \u0026#xA0; \u0026#xA0; \u0026#xA0; \u0026#xA0;\u0026#xA0;\u0026#xA0;\u0026#xA0;\u0026#xA0;\u0026#xA0;\u0026#xA0;I certify that H.B.
