I am having masto.nyc limit-block every server that I see spreading the current spam-wave.
One thing we all learned in February is that every server that allows this is either misconfigured, undermoderated, or a “ghost ship” server that an enthusiastic hobbyist launched in November 2022 and then forgot about.
Some of them will fix their stuff and we’ll let ‘em back in, but until that happens, they're all poor fediverse neighbors, even if unintentionally. #mastoadmin
