News: Kishore Mahbubani, former President of the UN Security Council and Singaporean diplomat, issued a stark warning at the Penang Peace Dialogue in Malaysia, identifying Taiwan as Asia's most dangerous flashpoint. He urged Taiwan never to declare independence. Warning that doing so would automatically trigger a catastrophic war involving the U.S. that would devastate the global and Southeast Asian economies.
