A recent report from the Bennet Institute for Public Policy (CambridgeU) warns Labour against extending or renewing PFI as a way of driving infrastructure investment.
Rather the report argues that experience in the UK and across Europe & beyond suggests the best vehicle to deliver transport infrastructure improvement, new towns & other projects are focussed Development Corporations that can raise money on capital markets.
