Quoting Naif Ghawanmeh, 50, who lived in Ein al-Auja for 45+ years:

[…] For two years we’ve been speaking to the world - and the world doesn’t see what our situation is and doesn’t hear. We’ve filed many complaints with police, but they don’t help. We’ve run out of strength.

The last Palestinian families were forced out of Ras Ein al-Auja (occupied West Bank) on Jan 25, marking the complete erasure of what was the largest remaining Bedouin community in Area C. For most families, this is their 3rd or 4th displacement since the #Nakba (1948→1967→now).

According to the report in Local Call, they were forced out after settlers established an outpost INSIDE the community in early January, daily violence, theft of sheep (2200+ stolen since 2024), cut electricity, blocked water access, destroyed roads, and armed settlers with herds circling their homes 24/7. Residents deliberately burned structures they couldn’t dismantle or take with them so settlers wouldn’t be able to use them.
