It's not a fork dividend really but it's a chance to regain some of the value of bitcoin that's been lost over the last few months with all the FUD.

After the fork you'll have btc on one chain and lukecoin (or whatever it gets named) on the new chain.

But selling it comes with risks...
First you need to move your btc to a new address, no replay protection on the new chain.

After you have moved it you can now try and find an exchange or buyer for the new tokens left on your old btc address.

If you try to sell the new token before you move your btc to a new address you will probably be a victim of the replay attack.
You sell and on the btc chain your transaction will be spotted by bots and your btc will stolen!

Also the new chain will have blocks way slowly than ten minutes and the chain is more likely to be double spent so exchanges will want far more than 1-3 blocks before they consider it confirmed.
You might be waiting days.

You'll also be doxing your stack and maybe your IP address to some of the worst actors in the space.

So for me unless the new coin can be sold/swapped for say 20% of the btc price I won't be doing it.

And even if it's 30% of the btc price the first day of the fork I won't bother because by the time I get confirmation the price will probably dump and the buyer vanished.
