Paul Whitely (UEssex) confirms what many political strategists argue, that the centre ground is where the majority of voters place themselves, with the Greens & ReformUK currently most removed from this majority voter positioning.
This also confirms the suggestion that Labour's tactic of going after the Right vote is a mistake, but perhaps underplays the ability of the Greens to shift the centre Leftwards (reversing recent trends in the Overton Window)?
