Trump has being talking about the Chinese threat since the 80's. Now he is doing something about it. He took a page from Israel and instead of a head on confrontation, he is tackling Chinese alies.
First he took Venezuela. That deprived China of cheap oil and it's base in South America.
Now he is taking Iran. Both taking more cheap oil from China and creating a barrier between China and Russia. Another Chinese ally.
Ciba, a potential Chinese military base right near the shores of the US, is next.
Trump is both taking away political allys and resources away from China a d moving the to US. This enables the US to rebuild it's industry using cheap resources.
