MMR has been a combination #vaccination since 1971. Scientists & medical professionals widely agree on its safety & efficacy.
Splitting MMR vaccine into 3 injections will likely reduce the number of vaccinations kids get as it might discourage parents from giving so many 'shots' (MMR is currently a combined #vaccination in 2 doses; the CDC's webpage is still active.)
