People cheering Charlie Kirk's murder - should they go to jail for "hate speech"? No. Should they be fired by their employer for being egotistical, unstable, vile pigs? Absolutely.
People calling for other specific people to be assassinated in the immediate wake of an assassination? That's different. I'm all for them getting fired, but I'm also for them being investigating and or facing legal repercussions.
