Trust? I'm not sure I'd go so far as to say I trust them. I do use my phone for work stuff too, which requires I use a vanilla, Google provided version of Android. If I did something like Lineage, they'd issue me a second phone and then I'd have to carry around two Android phones. As far as running Betas are concerned, I have a Pixel phone, so you can be sure they've tested on this exact hardware. I expect these Betas are really for other hardware, so I just get new features early.
