It was quite a mess. I didn't have the stomach to deal with it straight away. Or indeed to do it all in one go. I tackled it in 2 parts. There was no cover on the duvet, so that's now in the bin🙄😂. It had seeped through the mattress cover onto the mattress🤦🏻‍♂️. That has now had a deep sponging with hot soapy water, as has the headboard. Both seem to have come up remarkably clean, all things considered!
