Seeing QBTC pump brought back memories of the Lollipop days. From around June to October 2024, that token was on fire and its value really took off. I still remember back in March 2024 when hardly anyone was talking about it. Minting was thru Scaling Cash, and BSZ was sharing info for anyone interested in minting. I decided to give it a shot too. Back then, minting 1M Lollipop only cost around 0.002 BCH, and you could sell it on Cauldron for about 0.007 BCH. I minted a few batches, swap some for a quick profit, and kept the rest just in case.
Then I think around June it absolutely flew to the moon🚀 🤑. Ended up making around 2 BCH from it, which was pretty nice. I still have a small bag left, although it never really got back to those levels again. 😅
DARK was another fun one. There used to be a faucet where the fee per claim was only around 0.00002 BCH, and you could sell what you claimed for roughly 0.001 BCH. It never had a crazy run like Lollipop, but it was still one of those cool opportunities you could stumble across early in the BCH ecosystem.
Looking back, those were some fun times. A lot of these tokens were barely on anyone's radar, then a few months later everyone seemed to be talking about them. Seeing QBTC move again kind of brought back that same feeling. 😄 BCH never really runs out of interesting things to discover.
