It strikes me that one of the issues with social media is that it removed the incentive to not be a prick. The incentive used to be, assuming you were chatting shit in a pub or whatever, that if you acted up too much you'd end up getting punched.
Not so much on t'net.
Enter #nostr - realigning incentives. Act like a dick here you might not get punched, but you're probably not going to get rewarded.
Offer something of value, something positive, and you might get a small reward. It's rebalanced things, in its own small way.
