After less than a year, the fan in my Raspberry 4 case is making loud, screeching noises, so it is clear that its bearing(s) are gone. Instead of replacing that fan, I will switch the few tasks (BIND DNS and the StepCA Certificate Authority) it has to fulfil to my new NAS box (a Lenovo Tiny PC) and decommission the Raspberry. Side effect: my homelab will then be 100% Red Hat Enterprise Linux based. (the raspberry runs Fedora). Added to my todo list for the weekend.
