The Four Agreements (self-help book by Don Miguel Ruiz) on being impeccable with your word. I'm not, I don't hold to that, it is too severe for me, too ~seeking above purview~ like an inhuman unhuman thing, what i ~do~ hold to, in so far as possible, not in a scary way, as a writer, and it ~is~ directly as a result of my near death experience, is to really really watch it on metaphors. as in, metaphors actualize, or they can, or a poor nonsensical one is just broken chaos of poor penmenship. the best metaphor works on every level into the ground, and thus aren't dissociated into a "meta" at all.
