well if someone was noncommittal and drifted left, that's one thing. then you have things like bernie supporters who then supported trump. or a radical swing the other way. i think these people are riding popularity waves, and have no real belief system except "i want in on the action." they will say or do anything. in some ways that's worse than MAGA
