Thinking about how BS the advice "no one can judge you if you have accepted yourself" is. I have queer students who had fully accepted their queerness and guess what? They still got thrown into conversion therapy because their family judged them poorly. If my community is judgemental against me, I could literally lose my means of earning if no one wants to work with me.
