Pretty much! It's very hot in summers and humid all year around. There are a ton of trees pretty much everywhere and things grow well here overall. Lots of insects - or there used to be. Once you get out of the city it's very wild. And there are a lot of parks and park like areas not far away. It's just become so popular (thanks Insta) that it's nearly impossible to find a reasonably priced place to go in summer unless you have friend or can camp. Even the camping areas and some beaches are ridiculously overpopulated in summer. There's a lot of skiing and other sports in winter as well so places can get packed then too. It's a sporty province, lol.

We usually get a lot of snow in the higher levels, not so much where I live as I'm not too much above sea level here.

There are tons of pics on the net of Vancouver and surrounding areas of BC. It really is one of the more lovely places I've ever lived. But it's also hyped up and expensive. And the population has nearly doubled since I came back from Asia.

What's it like where you live?
