Even an idiot, such as Trump, gets something right, sometimes. We do not have real news in America. But when Trump says, "fake news" he is just mad, because he dislikes the news story. His nonsense, unfortunately, distracts from the reality, that we do not have real news.
In America, what we have that passes as news is a celebrity type reporter, interviewing another celebrity type reporter sharing their thoughts, feelings, and opinions concerning recent events. That is not how real news, works.
Real news would report all the facts - the wonderful, good, bad, and ugly. Then they would shut up, and let you think for yourself, to form your own thoughts, feelings, and opinions without being first fed someone else's. Real news also would not be conservative, progressive, or moderate, because real news would report political events, without being political themselves. That is because real news reports the news, and does not try to become the news.
I get my news from the BBC News. They are sometimes a little slower reporting, because they fact check, and they understand not everything is "breaking news". Sometimes reports are only a paragraph or two, because they do not include any fluff, and often facts are simple.
For example, people who are pro Israel or pro Palestine, will claim bias. Why? Because war is ugly and both sides do horrible things in war. If either side liked the reporting all the time, it likely would mean they were not doing their job. News should not favour or flatter, but report all the facts as they happen - and war is an ugly business no matter which side you're on.
